I finally did it!
Well, it took me 20 months, but I finally got my baby's hair cut! I knew he would look like such a big boy when I did it, and he has the sweetest curls in the back of his hair but it seriously needed to be cut! So off to our favorite beautician Brianna, or Brinana as Clayton calls her. He was NOT fan! We made it through sitting on Mommy's lap and eating a sucker. Big brother got his cut too, he is a pro now so he went first so he could show Hollis how it's done :) I saved his little curls and he is of course as handsome as ever!!!!!

Time seriously needs to slow down! Hollis is 20 months!!!
A look at month 19...
*He has all of the sudden started talking up a storm!!! He literally says a new word everyday! He now says...Mama, Dada, Clayton (I am amazed at how clearly he says Clayton, but he is a huge fan of his big brother!), Dora, Boots, Nana, Gi Gi, choo choo, thank you, please, uh oh, bye bye, hi, oh no, no no, this, car, woof woof, Lily, puppy, and so many more!!!
*He know what he wants and he will definitely let you know! He has started his little tantrums for sure ;)
*He wants to do everything his big brother does, and I must say he does a great job keeping up!
*I know I've said it a million times, but this baby is a monkey! He literally climbs everything he sees. Just the other day he climbed on the patio chair on the deck and then proceeded to climb on top of the table turn table, and had the biggest grin on his face. He was so proud of himself!
*He has become a picky eater just like his big brother. His staples are peanut butter and fruit, and anything junk food!
*He tries to carry on a conversation. He goes on and on and throws in the words he does know. Whatever he is saying, he means it!
*He is seriously THE cuddliest baby in the entire world. It isn't enough for him to just be beside you. He wants to be a close to you as possible and he wraps that little arm tight around my neck, he just melts my heart and fills it with love every time!
*He has the funniest faces, and so many of them. It cracks me up!
*He can follow directions, it really amazes me how much he understands!
*He can work our Iphones like you wouldn't believe. People watch him with amazement and come up to our table at restaurants all of the time saying they can't believe he does that. He can even play this matching game. I watched him thinking he was just guessing, but he will actually remember where a picture is and go back and match it!
I am so thankful for this sweet baby boy!!!!!!!

Dora Obsessed!!!
Admiring his Dora Cup :)
Hollis is seriously obsessed with Dora! It was one of his first words, he shrieks with excitement when he sees anything Dora, and he will literally bring the remote to you and demand that it be changed to Dora if the TV is on a different show. The other day at Target he spotted a pink Dora cup and went nuts! I gave it to him and he was the sweetest thing. He kept looking at it and in his sweet little voice he kept repeating, "Dora!" People would just stop and smile at him as we walked through the store. He is a little piece of heaven on earth!!!

Glow Bath!!!
I love finding and doing fun activities with my boys. I hope that I am making lasting memories of a childhood full of fun, laughter, and love!
The other night we turned out all of the lights in the bathroom and had a "glow bath" by putting glow sticks in the tub!!! Needless to say, it was a big hit :)
Check out this water baby...already getting into swimming position!
Glow Baths wear a baby out!

Clayton, the things he comes up with!
I really need to carry around a notebook and a pen at all times because Clayton is always saying something that cracks me up. He is always soaking up what he hears and sees, more than we even know. He often will say things that I realize I say all of the time.
He loves Thomas the Train, the other day he says to me, very seriously, "Mommy, I think Thomas probably lives at pbs.org!" This kid is hilarious!

Kaylee's Birthday!
I had taken Kaylee to the museum with us on Friday for her Birthday. That night she was having a slumber party with her friends. We happened to be on our way home that evening and decided to join the party. They only live about 10 minutes from us now and we are so excited about that! Lori and I are like sisters and grew up together, so it is nice to live so close now and help each other out! Anyway, Clayton was super excited to be going to her party. She had about 5 girls over, and as soon as the boys walked in the door those girls were ooohing and ahhhing over the boys. They kept passing them around, they were the center of attention and loving it. Clayton was keeping up with the girls and wanting to do everything they were doing. He was even chasing them and trying to give them kisses...oh boy, I have a lady's man on my hands!!! We ate cupcakes, watched her open presents, and played games. The boys had a ball, but it was 9:30 before we left, so they were wiped out! So glad we ended up stopping by, I think everyone had a great time.

Indianapolis Children's Museum!
We took a trip to the Indy Children's Museum last week, they had a special Lego and Hot Wheels exhibit that we were super excited about. Pop Pop, Gi Gi, and Lisa came along with us! We did it all in one day and didn't stay the night like last year, we realized it was a little too much of a trip for a day! We had a great day though, the boys were extremely well behaved for having no nap and spending nearly 8 hours in the car. I also have to say that Clayton made it the entire trip with not one accident!!!!! This was our first road trip since being potty trained!
This museum is awesome, I will let the pictures speak for themselves! Sorry they are a little blurry, the lighting plus busy 1 and 3 year olds equals blurry pictures!
