Random Cuteness :)

New milestones...

Picture this...it is four in the morning, and on the monitor I hear "Da, Da, Da", so I go into his room and he is sitting up in his crib looking at me with this big smile on his face. Yes, he can now go from laying to sitting!!! Okay...this is a big deal to a mommy and daddy, and so cute too! Of course I had to scoop him right up and give him big kisses...oh what fun he is! I just love, love, love him :) He had been going from sitting to crawling for awhile, but hadn't gone from crawling back up to a sitting position, so it was so exciting to find him not laying in his crib, but sitting!!!! So daddy had to lower the crib to the lowest setting for fear that our next milestone might just be climbing...he is a boy you know and very determined.

Clayton's First "Real" Tennis Shoes...

Here they are!
So cute!!!!

Look mommy, what are these?

Cutest baby ever!!!! Such a handsome little guy :)

Last winter he had "baby tennis shoes"...the kind that are soft all over. Then came summer, so we let those cute little toes breathe...they're too cute to cover up anyway ;) With winter approaching again, and our baby boy on the move...we decided to go shoe shopping. He got some Nike Shocks, and they are unbelievably cute, but then what isn't cute when it is on him??? I took some pictures, and he is just fascinated by these new "things" on his feet.

Clayton's first bike ride

Scott is a very adventurous guy and couldn't wait for Clayton to get here to join him on all of these adventures. He went out and bought a bike trailer several months ago, but mommy was too nervous to let Clayton go until today. Daddy has been dying to take Clayton for a bike ride!!!! Clayton wasn't too sure at first, but once Daddy got going, he loved it!

A look at Month 7...a month of many firsts!

Clayton's first bike ride!
I love my sippy cup!

What have they done to me now?

Look he can already read!!

How did I get in here?

Mommy's Birthday

Whoa mommy look at that!
Mommy and Clayton

Well I think this was probably my best birthday yet...and all because I got to spend it with the newest love of my life! Who better to spend my birthday with than my wonderful husband and beautiful baby boy :) Scott went and got me Starbuck's for breakfast, and then Clayton and Scott took me to Zuki. It was so much fun watching him watch the hibachi chef. He just sat there with his mouth wide open, completely still, just staring in awe. Afterwards, Scott and Clayton gave me my gift...a spa day! As I celebrated this birthday, I know what a blessed girl I am. I am so very thankful for the life I have been given, and for the best gift of all...my baby boy!

And he is off...

We had been putting Clayton on his belly (which he isn't very fond of) for the longest time trying and trying to coax him in to crawling by showing him fun toys...and knowing once he was mobile there would be no turning back. Well, on August 19th much to our excitement, he crawled for the first time. Of all things, mommy's cell phone is what finally did the trick. He wanted that cell phone bad and was bound and determined to get it, and get it he did! He looked like a little inch worm. It is absolutely hilarious and adorable. He doesn't really use his arms. He hikes that cute little bootie in the air and pushes his body forward. You should have heard the hooting and hollering going on in this household. Now that he is mobile, he is everywhere...and we love it! He is just so beautiful and we are so very thankful for him!!!
