My sweet sleeping Hollis...look at that chin!

Time is flying...my sweet baby Hollis is already 3 months old! How does time go so fast. He is such a sweet, loving baby. He has been such a blessed addition. Here is a look at what Hollis has been doing over the past month...
*Loves to be talked to...coos, smiles the biggest most beautiful smile, and is beginning to laugh which is music to our ears

*Holds his head up and when laying down he tries to sit himself up...he likes to be sitting up, doesn't like to lay back...has to see what is going on

*Focuses on faces and things and seems to be studying them, trying to figure out this big world

*Loves and is very interested in his big brother Clayton! Smiles the biggest smiles at Clayton

*Follows people with his eyes...especially Mommy, Daddy, and Clayton

*Not a big sleeper at this point

*LOVES bath time...however, does not like getting out of the bath and being cold

*Very close to rolling over, but not quite yet

*Just the sweetest, cutest thing...such a good baby

*Loves to be cuddled and held
*loves to blow bubbles

Clayton's First Hockey Game

Evansville has a local hockey team called the Icemen. My best friend...who we refer to as "Aunt Heil" was working the game on this particular night in support of heart month. We went to support this game benefiting and bringing recognition to heart disease and had a great time while doing it. I wasn't sure how Clayton would react, but he LOVED IT, especially the popcorn. When the players would crash up against the wall, Clayton would say "Oh No!" We didn't stay for the whole game because it was late. It was a great time and we look forward to taking Clayton to more games when he is a little older.

For Valentine's Day Hallmark had Lovebugs! How appropriate since I call my babies my Lovebugs. So we got each of them a Lovebug filled with Valentine goodies. We have the best little Valentine's in the world!

Great Grandaddy Mullins

Today, February 10, 2011...your Great Grandaddy Mullins went to Heaven. Your Great Grandaddy was a great man who lived a full life. He joined the Marines when he was only 14. As a Marine he fought in the island hopping campaign of the Pacific theatre in WWII. He began working for Kentucky Utilities in 1951 as a serviceman. He worked for Kentucky Utilities for around 40 years. He was an avid golfer for many years and even made the newspaper for a few hole in ones! He loved his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He and your Granny Mullins loved to travel, and even took your Daddy on a few of the trips. Daddy went all the way to California with your Grandaddy! They made many stops along the way and Daddy has many memories to share with you about that trip. Even though he referred to the 5th grade as his "Senior Year", he and your Granny were shrewd and studious investors. Their primary objective was to create a lasting legacy for the family, and that they did!

Clayton's Baby Hollis

Clayton is becoming more and more fond of Hollis by the day and it is just so sweet!
* I usually load Clayton in the van first and then come back into the house to get Hollis. Clayton will cry, "Baby Hollis Bye Bye". He wants to make sure I don't leave his baby brother!

* If Hollis cries, Clayton will go and sit by him and yell, "Mama...Baby Hollis Cry!" He repeats until Mommy takes care of Baby Hollis.

* Several times I have caught him carrying on a conversation with Hollis. It is pretty one sided at this point, but sweet all the same.

* Hollis already smiles and lights up when he sees his big brother Clayton

* We went to Tennessee for Great Grandaddy Mullins' funeral and my mom stayed with Clayton. Since I am nursing Hollis, he went with us. The only person Clayton looked for and asked for the one night we were gone...Baby Hollis!

* If Hollis is crying, Clayton will find his "Pie Pie" and stick it in his mouth and say "Night Night".

Super Bowl 2011...Go Steelers!

Steelers Babies

You wanna mess with me?!

Mommy's Boys!

Cheering for the Steelers!

Steelers made it to the Super Bowl this year. The Steeler's are Uncle B's favorite team, so our boys are definitely going to be Steeler's fans! The year Clayton was born the Steeler's went to Super Bowl, Clayton was only 2 weeks old. He must have been their good luck charm because they won!!! This year, Hollis was born and Steelers went to Super Bowl AGAIN. The Mullins boys are definitely good luck charms, but this year Steelers couldn't pull off a win. We did have fun though...we spent the afternoon at cousin Gavin's first birthday party that was football themed. We watched the Super Bowl at home as a family. Maybe next year Steelers?!
