Vanderburgh County Fair and Chuck E Cheese

We had planned on going to the fair and we had told Clayton all about it!  We told him about the animals and all of the rides he would ride.  Well, we got there and it was a beautiful day.  We decided to get there right at 10:00 when they opened so that the weather would be cooler and the crowd wouldn't be so bad.  We got there and went straight to see the animals because the rides weren't open yet.  The boys love animals, so they really enjoyed it.  There was a mommy pig with 10 little piglets, Clayton loved seeing that!  After the animals we decided to go were the exhibits were.  The first one Hollis spotted was a Dora exhibit!!!!  He was so excited :)  We spent quite awhile looking around in there.  I finally asked someone when the rides opened and I was shocked when she said 2:00!!!  What?!  How was I going to break this to my 3 year old who I had promised would ride rides???  We played on the playground while we decided how in the world we were going to handle this.  We both felt so bad!  We decided to go to Chuck E Cheeses.  Surprisingly they have only been once.  We bought 10 dollars worth of tokens and they lasted forever, and we even had some left for next time.  It actually worked out great, I am sure we would have spent a lot more money on rides at the fair!  I was surprised at what a good deal it is!  After that we ate lunch and went home for naps.  They were both completely exhausted!  It was a great day :)
