Scott had to go to Louisville for work recently, and since we have some good friends that live in Louisville that we don't get to see often enough we decided to make a trip of it. We left early Friday morning and when we got to Louisville, Scott went off to work and the boys and I met Kari and her little boy at the Louisville Children's Museum. Both boys had a ball, and I really enjoyed getting to catch up with Kari. Their favorite part of the museum was definitely the water area, we ended up playing there twice, and both boys were soaking wet! We then picked up lunch and spent the rest of the day catching up while the kiddos played. The next morning we went for breakfast at Lynn's Paradise Cafe. If you have never been it is definitely a must do! I have been a couple of times before, the food is amazing and the atmosphere is equally amazing! It is very eclectic and has a gift shop, all of the tables, chairs, and decorations are a variety of mismatched items that add to the quaintness of the place. We had a nice breakfast and headed home. We had packed a lot into our short trip so we were exhausted when we got home, but it was well worth the exhaustion.
