I love the holidays, mostly because the whole family comes together and that just doesn't happen enough it seems. We woke up Thanksgiving morning and watched the Macy's day parade in our pajamas. I fixed my green bean casserole while the boys played. We then headed to my Aunt Alice's house. I love going there. We have always had it there since I can remember, and it just seems right when we all gather there every year at this time. Many memories were made for me there, and nothing means more to me than my children now making memories there as well. Clayton was beyond excited to play with his cousins and boy did he play! I barely saw him he was so busy playing. Hollis took a little nap as soon as we got there, but soon joined in the fun shortly after. The guys played their annual poker game and us ladies sat around the table and talked and laughed. My family means so much to me. It was a great day giving thanks!
After naps, my other family came over for some Turkey Day pizza :) Again, I love my family and love making memories for my boys. Uncle B, Pop Pop, and Lisa came over and we talked, laughed, and played until bed time. We missed Amy, Hannah, and Landon! Hopefully they will be able to join us next year!
