My best friend is involved in a group called Mended Little Hearts which is a support group for families that have children with heart defects. This is close to my heart not only because my best friend has a congenital heart defect, but many of my students with Down Syndrome also have congenital heart defects. So we, as a family, were more than thrilled to support this group! It was a great family event and we look forward to walking for many years to come!
