Discovering his treat on the porch
Digging into the goodies
Digging into the goodies
Showing mommy what he got
On the front porch digging all the goodies out
Bringing his goodies in
Our ghosting note
In his wagon getting ready to "ghost" the neighbors with goodies
Every October, our neighborhood does a little activity called ghosting. I posted about it last October, but at that time Clayton was too little to really understand. What happens is, your doorbell rings after dark and you have a Halloween surprise left on your doorstep with a note that you have been ghosted. You must then post the sign on your door (so you don't get ghosted twice), and then you must ghost two other houses. Hopefully, by the end of October the whole neighborhood has been ghosted! I love this activity and look forward to doing things like this with Clayton.
We woke up Saturday morning and I let Clayton go out on the porch to discover our treat. We had a cute little Halloween basket with all the goodies to make Halloween cupcakes inside! :) Clayton was so excited, he just kept going on and on about the basket. I look forward to making the cupcakes with him very soon!
Then it was our turn to set out and ring two neighbors doorbells and leave special Halloween treats for them :) I look forward to doing this with him for many Halloweens to come!
